The Diamond Controls Group has officially relocated its head office to a much larger facility on Bessemer Road in Norwich, in response to consistent growth and expansion into new product sectors. The new space was ceremoniously opened by The Lord Mayor of Norwich, Councillor Vivien Thomas, on December 6th.
The company, which includes Diamond Controls (specialists in leak detection systems), Trace Heating Supplies (authorized distributors of nVent RAYCHEM trace heating products), and Diamond Services (electrical contractors), is poised for continued growth.
This move marks a key development for the business, building on last year’s 20th anniversary celebrations. With the increased demand for our services, this relocation not only supports our continued expansion but also reflects our commitment to providing innovative solutions to clients across the UK.

Company Director Iain Ames commented, “As we’ve expanded, so has our offering, and the growth of our team and product range made it clear that we needed more space. Our previous premises no longer met our needs, so we seized the opportunity to transform these vacant units into a modern and efficient workspace that will support our future growth. The new headquarters also allow us to add more local jobs and have the room to grow further as our business continues to evolve.”
The new headquarters, which span two large units in a secure compound, offer a bright, modern workspace complete with offices, dedicated training rooms, and extensive warehouse facilities. The expanded warehouse is more than double the size of our previous space, enabling us to stock a wider array of products to meet growing demand.

The new facility also enhances our operational efficiency through upgraded equipment, including high-rise racking systems, a pump truck, pallet stackers, and barcode scanning technology. This investment in infrastructure is partially funded by Norfolk County Council’s Small Grant Scheme, with further business support from the New Anglia Growth Hub.

The fit-out of the premises was managed by our in-house team, working closely with local contractors including Saw Building and Landscaping from Norwich and Acorn Works, commercial interior specialists based in Swaffham. Electrical work was completed by Diamond Services.
