We are pleased to offer customers product warranties across our range of Trace Heating and Leak Detection products against use of defective materials when such goods are properly installed, operated, and maintained according to product documentation.

Warranty
Our products are sourced from leading manufacturers that have a reputation for innovative, market-leading solutions and have been thoroughly tested by us to ensure their suitability for use. We strongly advise inspecting the goods before installation and ensuring that only trained engineers carry out the installation in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Below, you will find the warranty details for three of our key manufacturers: Raychem Chemelex, S&S Northern, and Aquilar.
Raychem Chemelex
Manufacturers Limited Product Warranty*
Chemelex provides a 2-Year Limited Product Warranty on RAYCHEM heating cables, connection kits, thermostats, controllers, and accessories. These warranties can be extended through product registration.
Extended Warranties for Certified Pro Installers
As a Certified Pro Installer for RAYCHEM, Diamond Controls offers extended warranties at no additional cost:
- Industrial 10-Year Product Warranty: Covers heating cables, components, and accessories, with control units covered under a 2-year standard product warranty.
- Commercial & Residential 12-Year Product Warranty: Covers heating cables and components, with control units extended to a 6-year product warranty.
These extended warranties are available when using Diamond Controls for Installation and Commissioning, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
S&S Northern
S&S Northern provides a 3-Year Limited Product Warranty on their gas products, covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. This warranty ensures that any defective product will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion.
To qualify for a warranty claim, proof of purchase must be provided. If a product is deemed defective, it will be replaced with a comparable model. The replacement product will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for six months – whichever is longer.
Aquilar
Aquilar provides a 5-Year Limited Product Warranty on its leak detection systems, giving customers peace of mind on product quality. As a supply partner to Aquilar, this warranty applies to all purchases shipped from Diamond Controls and Trace Heating Supplies.
Aquilar offers coverage for defects in workmanship and materials under normal use. Any defective product within the warranty period will be either repaired or replaced at no additional cost.

*What the Limited Product Warranty does not cover
Goods subjected to misuse, neglect, alteration or improper installation, operation, maintenance, repair, or testing (or such other act or omission, not attributable to Diamond Controls Ltd) are not covered by this Limited Product Warranty. Diamond Controls Ltd shall in no event be liable for the cost of removal or installation, for loss or damage to or loss of use of facilities or other property, loss of revenue, loss of use of revenue, loss of anticipated profits, or other damages or costs of any kind whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, and in no event shall Diamond Controls Ltd liability exceed an amount equal to the sales price.
