Merlin 3000S Demand Controlled Kitchen Ventilation Energy Saving System

The Merlin 3000S is an energy-saving system for commercial kitchens that acts as an interlock between ventilation and the gas solenoid valve, adjusting fan speeds via 0-10VDC outputs.

With two built-in 0-10VDC outputs, the system varies ventilation speed based on gas usage (via a turbine gas meter), CO2 levels, smoke/steam detection, or heat in the extract duct. For optimal results, all four sensors can be used together or in any combination.

As gas use or CO2 levels rise, the system increases ventilation speed. When usage is low, it reduces fan speed to save energy. The optical sensor detects excess smoke or steam, while the heat sensor monitors duct heat.

The Merlin 3000S also functions as a traditional ventilation interlock and gas pressure proving system, combining these features into a compact control panel that saves valuable kitchen space.
