The CPC Refrigerant Leak Monitoring System (SP-ir) is a single-point gas detector using advanced non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology to detect HFC, HFO, CO₂, and hydrocarbon refrigerants.

Supported gases: R744 (Co2), R123yf, R1234ze, R448a, R449a, R452a, R32, R125, R134a, R227, R404a, R407a, R407f, R410a, R517a, R507a, R417a, R452a, R452b, R143, R290 (propane), R600a (iso-butane).

Please note: Gas sensors are non-returnable once supplied due to the limited life span of certain sensing elements once activated and limitations in verifying whether a sensor has been activated, installed, calibrated, or otherwise placed into service. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds on gas sensors except where the product is found to be defective under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

Description

The CPC Refrigerant Leak Monitoring System (SP-ir) is a single-point gas detector designed to monitor HFC, HFO, CO₂, and hydrocarbon refrigerants using advanced non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology.

Housed in a robust IP65-rated enclosure, the SP-ir features graphical LED indicators for system health, alarm, and fault status. Installation is quick and simple, once mounted and powered, the detector completes its warm-up in just 60 seconds and is ready to detect refrigerant leaks.

Unlike many conventional sensing technologies, the SP-ir offers high accuracy with minimal cross-sensitivity, allowing reliable low-level alarm settings. The unit includes an integral audible alarm and voltage-free relay outputs for standalone operation or integration with building and refrigeration management systems via RS485 or optional Ethernet connectivity.

For gas concentration monitoring, analogue output options include 0–5V, 0–10V, and 0–20mA. Each detector is pre-configured for the target refrigerant and delivers reliable performance in ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to +40°C.

Supported gases: R744 (Co2), R123yf, R1234ze, R448a, R449a, R452a, R32, R125, R134a, R227, R404a, R407a, R407f, R410a, R517a, R507a, R417a, R452a, R452b, R143, R290 (propane), R600a (iso-butane).
