The Merlin CS2 Current Monitor is a dual-fan current monitor designed for use with the Merlin range of kitchen ventilation interlock systems, offering an alternative to air pressure differential switches. The live wire between the fan controller and fan passes through the hole and is looped around the coil to boost sensitivity. As the fan operates and current flows, a magnetic field is generated in the coil. The current switch then sends a closed contact via two low voltage cables to any Merlin Gas Interlock System.
